Our partners have been involved in numbers of financing transactions including to bilateral and syndicated loan, derivatives, project financing in the sector of infrastructure, property, acquisition, mining, energy, and other corporate financing instruments. They have extensive expertise by assisting numerous high-profile transactions.
Recently, Indonesia has practiced a lot of Islamic concept in financial project because of the certainty on the transaction. In general, Islamic finance is not allowing any interest, hence, it is replaced by profit sharing system, lease, or sale and purchase system. As those concepts are not familiar for some people, there would be some obstacles in the documentation and its practice. Thus, our expertise could avoid the obstacle that mostly happen on Islamic finance transaction. Our Partners have and maintain their good relationship with Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia), therefore we would be able to have their opinion for certain Islamic finance transaction.

Rifki Hermawan
Rifki Hermawan is the founding partner of the firm. The works involved in advising multinational clients on various corporate and commercial law issues and assisting the transaction in the sector of banking and finance transactions.
He has extensive expertise in relation to matters involving foreign direct investment and setting up, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structure and restructuring, winding-up and liquidation, among other corporate-related matters. In this vein, he has advised and acted as counsel for several multinational corporations with regards to advising them on the national regulatory frameworks governing. He has also represented several banks in connection to corporate finance, project finance and development, Islamic finance, and financial restructuring.
His experience expands in drafting, reviewing, negotiating various agreements and transactions documents, such as shareholder agreements, distributorship agreements, agency agreements, construction agreements, employment contracts, joint venture agreements, facility agreement, Indonesian security documents, and derivatives agreement, and among others.
Rifki is a law postgraduate from University of Gadjah Mada. He has been admitted to the bar association and is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/“PERADI”).
